Wellbeing Week

This week in Mrs King’s English and Maths groups we have been trying activities to improve our own well- being. On Monday we focused on connecting with each other and practiced our true listening skills using conversation starters. On Tuesday we got active using a Yoga session, this focused on our breathing, yoga poses and relaxation. On Wednesday we focused on being mindful, we practised some visualisation and made our own mindful patterns using kitchen roll. On Thursday, our focus was to keep learning and we did! The PDSA visited us in assembly and told us all about their work. Finally, on Friday we focused on SLEEP! We came to school in our pyjamas and raised money for MIND, mental health charity.
