In the past two weeks, we have had a special delivery of 10 chicken eggs. All the children at the academy have seen the chicks hatch from their shells and watched them grow. As part of the science curriculum, Year 2 have been studying 'Animals Including Humans' topic looking at life cycles of different animals. All children have had the opportunity to see a real life experience of the life cycle from egg to the chick, how we care for the chicks and what they need to grow and survive!
